went back today, and everything was exactly how it should be. the nostalgia was overwhelming.
the concert was pretty mediocre, but the audience and the atmosphere made all the difference. everyone was cheering and laughing, while the teachers and students ran around with cones in their hands trying to catch a ball. i think st margs is the only place where the teachers will do such weird things. come to think of it, its the idiosyncracies of st margs that makes me love it so much, because such quirkiness and enthusiasm can't be found elsewhere. running round the staffroom sneaking food off the teachers' plates and eating some of their presents, it was that deja vu feeling all over again, except of course if you tried to barge in and out of the staffroom at your free will when you were a student, you would have been hung by your toes in the parade ground.
but 4e5 2005 is no good. they're not taking care of my class. its too clean. make the place look lived in, for heavens sakes. resurrect Mount "newsweek cum xing qi wu zhou bao" please.
sigh.
